Không chỉ giữ vững thương hiệu chất lượng đào tạo nghề, Trường Cao đẳng kỹ thuật công Nghệ Quy Nhơn còn tham gia đào tạo nghề cho nước bạn Lào cũng như mở rộng hợp tác quốc tế trong đào tạo nghề chất lượng cao.

Đào tạo nhân lực cho các tỉnh Nam Lào

Từ năm học  2014 - 2015 đến năm học  2019 - 2020, Trường CĐ Kỹ thuật công nghệ Quy Nhơn đã tuyển sinh, đào tạo cho 141 sinh viên từ các tỉnh Nam Lào. Các ngành đào tạo là Công nghệ ô tô, Công nghệ thông tin (Ứng dụng phần mềm), Điện công nghiệp, Kế toán doanh nghiệp, Quản trị nhà hàng, Hàn. Trong đó, thu hút nhiều sinh viên nhất là nghề Điện công nghiệp, mỗi năm học có trên 10 sinh viên theo học trở lên.

Đáng chú ý, kể từ năm học 2017 - 2018, bên cạnh số sinh viên Lào tuyển sinh theo chỉ tiêu UBND tỉnh giao, đã có những sinh viên theo học tự túc. Trong 3 năm học gần đây, tổng cộng đã có 13 sinh viên theo học chế độ tự túc. Trường đã xem xét, miễn giảm học phí đối với những sinh viên có hoàn cảnh khó khăn.Vì ảnh hưởng của đợt lũ lụt từ ngày 3 – 8/9/2019, hoàn cảnh kinh tế của gia đình 2 sinh viên ngành Điện công nghiệp Siphaphan Khomsone và Keovilaisouk Khomsone rất khó khăn. Trên cơ sở đề nghị của Ban Giám hiệu Trường CĐ Nghề kỹ thuật tỉnh Champasak, Trường CĐ Kỹ thuật công nghệ Quy Nhơn đã xem xét, quyết định giảm 70% học phí của năm học 2019 - 2020 cho 2 sinh viên này. Mới đây UBND tỉnh đã có quyết định bổ sung kinh phí năm 2020 cho Trường với tổng số tiền hơn 539 triệu đồng để thực hiện cấp học bổng cho sinh viên các tỉnh Nam Lào từ tháng 1 đến tháng 9/2020.

Theo Phó Hiệu trưởng phụ trách Trường CĐ Kỹ thuật công nghệ Quy Nhơn Võ Thị Tuyết Nhung, nhà trường đã ký biên bản ghi nhớ với 4 trường thuộc 4 tỉnh Nam Lào, làm cơ sở để hằng năm xác định thời gian, chỉ tiêu tuyển sinh. Giữa các trường đều cử đầu mối làm việc thông qua internet nên chủ động trong các hoạt động hợp tác, nắm bắt kịp thời tình hình tuyển sinh, học tập và tốt nghiệp của sinh viên.

“Các sinh viên Lào học tập nghiêm túc, kết quả tốt nghiệp 100% đối với các sinh viên học đến cuối khóa. Khi về nước, các em đều có việc làm ổn định, nhiều em nắm giữ những vị trí quan trọng ở nơi công tác, khiến chúng tôi rất hài lòng. Các em còn nhiệt tình tham gia các phong trào văn hóa thể thao, tạo nên màu sắc mới trong hoạt động của nhà trường”. Bà Võ Thị Tuyết Nhung chia sẻ.

Để nâng cao hiệu quả đào tạo, Trường CĐ Kỹ thuật công nghệ Quy Nhơn đã đề xuất UBND tỉnh cho phép tăng chi tiêu tuyển sinh, tạo điều kiện hơn nữa cho sinh viên Lào được học tập nâng cao tại Trường. Đồng thời, tăng thời gian khóa học, bảo đảm có thời gian ban đầu cho học sinh, sinh viên Lào được học tiếng Việt để tăng khả năng giao tiếp và tiếp thu kiến thức.

Hợp tác đào tạo nghề chất lượng cao

Bên cạnh đào tạo nhân lực cho nước bạn Lào, Trường CĐ Kỹ thuật công nghệ Quy Nhơn còn mở hướng hợp tác với đối tác Australia để đào tạo thí điểm nghề chất lượng cao. Cụ thể, đào tạo thí điểm chương trình chuyển giao từ Australia cho nghề Cơ điện tử và Điện tử công nghiệp. 38 sinh viên tham gia khóa đào tạo từ tháng 9/2015 đến tháng 12/2019.

Để chuẩn bị cho hoạt động này, nhà trường đã thực hiện tốt công tác chuẩn bị cơ sở vật chất, điều kiện an toàn, vệ sinh công nghiệp. Các thiết bị, vật tư, tài liệu phục vụ cho giảng dạy đáp ứng kịp thời theo từng học kỳ, bảo đảm đầy đủ trước khi tổ chức giảng dạy.

Bên cạnh đó, 8 giáo viên của Trường CĐ Kỹ thuật công nghệ Quy Nhơn đã được đào tạo tại Australia. Tham gia giảng dạy còn có các chuyên gia đến từ học viện Chisholm, Australia; có những môn học được triển khai theo hình thức trực tuyến. Cuối mỗi học kỳ, các chuyên gia trực tiếp sang kiểm tra, đánh giá.

Bà Võ Thị Tuyết Nhung cho hay, cả 38 sinh viên đều tốt nghiệp, được cấp bằng của Việt Nam và Australia, được thừa nhận ở 150 quốc gia trên thế giới. Nhiều sinh viên được các doanh nghiệp đến tuyển dụng ngay khi còn ở trường. Nhiều bạn đăng ký tiếp tục học lên cao ở nước ngoài, Thành công này tiếp tục khẳng định uy tín của Trường cũng như mở ra hướng đi mới đầy triển vọng trong hợp tác quốc tế.

EXPAND INTO INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Not only firmly maintaining its brand of occupational training quality, Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology also provides occupational training for Laos PDR and expand into intetrnational cooperation in high quality occupational training.

Human resource training for Southern Laos provinces

From 2014 - 2015 academic year to 2019 - 2020 academic year, Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology enrolled and trained 141 students from Southern Laos provinces. The training courses include automobile technology, information technology (software application), industrial electrics, enterprise accounting, restaurant administration and welding, Of which industrial electrics attracts most students with more than ten students attending each year.

It is remarkable that since the 2017 - 2018 academic year, in addition to the number of students enrolled under the scholarships allocated by the Provincial People's Committee, there have also been self-funded students. In the last three academic years, there were a total of 13 self-funded students.

The college has considered offering tuition fee waivers to disadvantaged students. As affected by the flooding from 3 to 8 September 2019, the family economic situation of two students of the industrial electrics course namely Siphaphan Khomsone and Keovilaisouk Khomsone was under big challenges. With the request from the management board of Champasak Province College of Occuational and Technical Training, Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology considered and offered 70% tuition fee waiver of the 2019 - 2020 academic year for the two students.

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has decided to grant additional budget for the 2020 academic year with a total of more than VND 539 million as scholarship grant to students from Southern Laos provinces from January to September 2020.

According to Ms Vo Thi Tuyet Nhung, Vice Rector in charge of Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology, the college has signed memoranda of understanding with 4 colleges of the 4 Southern Laos provinces as the foundation for annual determination of time frame and numbers of enrollment and admission. The colleges have appointed their focal points to communicate via internet so that they are more proactive in the cooperative activities and timely updated of the admission, learning progress and graduation of their students.

"All the Laotian students are diligent and 100% of the students with full attendance have graduated. Returning to their country, they all have stable jobs, many of them hold important positions where they work. That makes us very satisfactory. "They have also actively participated in the cultural and sports activities which creates a new nuance in the college's activities", said Ms Vo Thi Tuyet Nhung

In order to enhance its training effectiveness, Quy Nhon College of Engineering And Technology has proposed to the provincial People's Committee for increased student admission and provision of better conditions for Laotian students to study at the college. At the same time, increase course duration to ensure that Laotian students will have an initial time for learning Vietnamese language to improve their communication and understanding of course contents.

Cooperation for high quality occupation training

Beside human resource training for Laos, Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology has also expanded its partnership cooperation with Australia in pilot high quality occupational training, namely pilot training program transferred from Australia in electronic mechanical engineering and industrial electronics 38 students attended the courses from September 2015 to December 2019.

To prepare for this activity, the college has well prepared the facilities, safety and Industrial sanitation. The equipment, consumables and materials for training are provided in time for each semester and adequately ensured prior to the training commencement.

In addition, 8 teachers of Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology have been trained in Australia. There are also specialist teachers from Chisholm Institute, Australia, running the training, also, some subjects are done online. At the end of each semester, the specialist teachers come to the college to run tests and evaluation.

Ms Vo Thi Tuyet Nhung said all 38 students have graduated and were conferred Viet Nam and Australia associate degrees upon which are recognized in 150 countries in the world.

Many students were recruited by enterpises even when they were still under the training course. Many of them registered to continue their higher education overseas. The success further confirms the good reputation of the college as well as the expansion to a new and fully prospective direction in its international partnership and cooperation.
